Everything you need to know about our screening service
Yes! We currently have a promotion where your initial £99 screening fee is fully deducted from the full assessment cost if you decide to proceed, making it risk-free to start with screening if you're unsure.
We understand this concern. If our clinician determines you don't have ADHD after the assessment, you'll only be charged for the assessment portion. We'll automatically refund the difference, ensuring you only pay for the services you actually need.
No, you don't need a GP referral for any of our private services. We accept self-referrals, allowing you to book directly through our website or by contacting us. However, we do recommend informing your GP about your assessment and any subsequent treatment.
We specialise in adult ADHD assessments for individuals aged 18 to 65. We will expand the scope of our services in the future.
Medication decisions are made collaboratively between you and our specialist prescribers during titration appointments. We'll discuss various options, their benefits and potential side effects, starting with first-line treatments recommended by NICE guidelines. Your lifestyle, preferences, and any other medications you're taking will all be considered.
Our non-medical support includes psychoeducation about ADHD, lifestyle management strategies, organisational skills coaching, and guidance on workplace/study accommodations. You'll also have access to resources about managing ADHD symptoms through routine, exercise, and other evidence-based approaches.
The full ADHD assessment typically takes 90 to 120 minutes in total, which may be split across multiple appointments depending on your needs. This includes detailed clinical discussion of your developmental history, current symptoms, and how they impact your daily life, plus standardised questionnaires and screening for related conditions.
With your consent, we'll write to your GP with details of your diagnosis and any treatment recommendations. This ensures continuity of care and helps your GP support you appropriately.
After your initial 12-month plan, we offer continuation packages for ongoing support at a discounted rate. Many patients successfully transfer to NHS shared-care arrangements through their GP by this point. We'll discuss your options well before your plan ends to ensure no interruption in your care.
